The Styler Hub is where you run your business. Here's how to get into it, and what to do when you can't.
On the web
Go to the Hub sign-in page.
Enter the email address and password you set when you registered.
๐ก Bookmark it. The web version is the fullest one โ everything the Hub does is available there, and it's the best place to set your business up.
On your phone
iPhone and iPad: download the Hub from the Apple App Store.
Android: download the Hub from the Google Play Store.
Sign in with the same email and password. You can also just use your phone's browser โ the web Hub works on mobile.
๐ The mobile app covers day-to-day running โ your calendar, bookings and customers. For setup and settings, use the web version.
Forgotten your password
On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password.
Enter your email address.
We'll email you a reset link. Follow it and choose a new password.
๐ No email? Check your spam folder, and check you've used the address your account is registered to. If someone else created your Hub account, it'll be the address they used.
You can also change your password while signed in: open Account Options in the top bar, click Account, then under Change Password click Send Reset Password Email.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication adds a second step to signing in โ your password, plus a code from an app on your phone. If someone gets hold of your password, it isn't enough on its own.
We strongly recommend turning it on. Your Hub account holds your customer list, your bookings and your revenue figures. A password alone is thinner protection than that deserves.
Turning it on
Open Account Options in the top bar and click Account.
Find Two-factor Authentication. A red dot means it's Disabled; green means Enabled.
Start the setup and follow the steps. You'll confirm your password, then scan a QR code with an authenticator app.
Enter the six-digit code from the app to confirm.
Styler works with Google Authenticator, and with any other standard authenticator app โ Microsoft Authenticator, Authy and 1Password all work the same way.
Signing in with it on
After your email and password you'll be asked for a code. Open your authenticator app and enter the six digits shown for Styler. The code changes every thirty seconds โ if it's rejected, wait for a fresh one and try again.
๐ Losing your phone locks you out. Codes live on the device, so a lost or wiped phone means losing access. Save the backup codes if your authenticator app offers them, or use an app that syncs across your devices. If you're already locked out, contact support โ we can help, but it takes longer than a password reset.
Turning it off
Same place, on the Account page. You'll need your password and a current code to disable it.
What the error messages mean
Message | What's happened |
Incorrect password | The email is right but the password isn't. Use Forgot Password rather than guessing โ repeated attempts will lock you out temporarily. |
Account does not exist | No account for that email. Check for a typo, or try another address you might have registered with. |
Invalid email address | What you've typed isn't a valid email format โ usually a missing @ or a stray space. |
Account disabled | The account has been switched off. This is usually a billing problem, or an account someone has deliberately closed. Contact support. |
Too many unsuccessful login attempts | Too many wrong passwords in a row, so sign-in is paused. Wait a while, then use Forgot Password. |
Invalid code | Your two-factor code was wrong or has expired. Wait for the app to generate a new one and enter it promptly. |
FAQs
โ Can my staff have their own logins?
Yes, and they should โ shared logins mean you can't tell who did what. See adding staff accounts.
โ I've been signed out unexpectedly.
Sessions don't last forever, and signing in elsewhere or clearing your browser data will end one. Just sign in again. If it keeps happening on the same browser, check it isn't clearing cookies on close.
โ Is it Styler that's down, or me?
Check System Status in the top bar of the Hub โ it'll tell you if there's a known problem at our end.
โ Still can't get in.
Email [email protected] or speak to your Styler Consultant. Tell us the email address you're trying and the exact message you're seeing โ it usually saves a round of back-and-forth.
