How to Create & Edit Working Hours

Managing staff availability is easy with Styler! Follow the steps below to create and modify your team’s working hours. 👇

✅ Before You Begin:

Make sure your staff profiles have been created. You’ll need these set up before you can assign working hours.


🔧 How to Create a Staff Schedule

  1. 🔑 Log in to the Styler Hub

  2. 👥 Go to the ‘Staff’ section in the side menu.

  3. 🗂️ Click on the ‘Working Hours’ tab at the top of the Staff page.

  4. 🧑‍💼 Click on the staff member’s name you'd like to set hours for.

  5. 🗓️ Click ‘Add New Schedule’.

  6. 📍 Choose a location (if applicable).

  7. 📅 Set a start and end date for the schedule – or leave the end date blank for an ongoing schedule.

  8. Toggle the days the staff member is working (green = working).

  9. 🕐 Enter a start and end time for each working day.

  10. 💾 Click ‘Add Schedule’ to save.

You’ll now see their availability reflected in the weekly schedule view!


✏️ How to Edit Working Hours for a Specific Day

  1. 🗓️ Click on the specific day in the schedule you'd like to update.

  2. ✏️ Click ‘Edit Hours’.

  3. 🕙 Change the start and/or end time as needed.

  4. 💾 Click ‘Save’ — the box will turn orange to show the time has been customised for that day.


➕ Add Hours on a ‘Not Working’ Day

  1. 🖱️ Hover over a day marked ‘Not Working’.

  2. 👆 Click ‘Staff Working’.

  3. 🕓 Enter the start and end time.

  4. 💾 Click ‘Save’ — the box will also turn orange to reflect the change.


🔁 Edit the Regular Weekly Schedule

You can always return to the full schedule:

  1. 👤 Click on the staff member’s name again.

  2. 📆 Click on the current schedule listed under Working Hours.

  3. ✏️ Make your changes and click ‘Update Schedule’.
